Woman Jumps In Front of Oncoming F Train

As a Brooklyn-bound F was pulling into the Delancey/Essex Street station earlier this evening, a young woman jumped from the platform onto the tracks according to a witness riding the train and several dispatches on Twitter. Passengers were quickly shooed off the subway and the FDNY was first on the scene. The conductor was reportedly overheard telling her, “Just don’t move, okay?” and she responded, “Okay.” (Photo: soulkat/Instagram)

Oh look, this guy appears to be shooting up heroin on the F train last Friday according to the description on this recently posted YouTube video. Watch and listen in horror as the person filming marvels about the importance of gadgets as the addict gets prepped, “Ya know… I’m so glad they got cellphones, nobody would believe this” he said. Agreed!

MTA: Yes, We Know, the F Train Sucks All Kinds of Ass

On Friday the MTA released a 25-page report on the horrendous state of the city’s F train service, acknowledging that yes, it sucks ass in ways no manner of public transportation has managed to suck ass since the onset of the industrial age. The report gives the orange line an “F” grade (haha, get it?) but promises that everything is going to be fixed and working just fine real soon, so quit your bitching because the check’s in the mail as they say. |Cityroom|

M.T.A. Tests 11th Car On F Train

Since they can’t expect to cram even more commuters into the already packed F train, the poorly mismanaged, fare hiking M.T.A decided to try a common sense approach: adding an 11th car. They’re still in test phase though since many of the platforms in BK are 600 feet long and the longer train is 660 feet. |NYDN|
