Bonnie and Clyde’s Guns for Sale

Hey, badass. Looking for a romantical gift? How about his and hers Bonnie and Clyde guns, seized at the outlaw couple’s Joplin hideout in 1933 after a shootout. The rare weapons are going up for auction in Kansas City this month.

The 45-caliber, fully automatic Thompson submachine “Tommy” gun and 1897 Winchester 12-gauge shotgun have been festering unappreciated at some police museum until now. The owners — descendants of cops involved in the raid — want the new owner to be someone who appreciates historic weapons and the Bonnie & Clyde crime fable. Not sure what practical use these could serve, aside from quirky, morbid foreplay, so here you go, lovebirds:

Lots of people kept one of New York City’s annual time-honored traditions alive by firing off their guns to mark the new year. For over an hour, after the clock struck 12, dozens of “shots fired” reports crackled over the NYPD’s Special Operations Division and Traffic channel, most of them in a row. 9/11 Memorial Attracts Over a Million Visitors and One Idiot With a Gun

The highly designed prison yard-looking space that is the 9/11 Memorial site announced that it has processed over one million visitors since its grand opening in September. The most recent notable attendee was a woman from Tennessee who brought along a loaded .32-caliber handgun in her purse.

Meredith Graves, who is somehow a fourth-year medical student, did a have permit to carry the weapon, just not in New York. While navigating through the multiple security points, she saw a sign that said “No guns Allowed.” Graves assumed that was her cue to ask a security guard if she could check the sidearm, you know, like a coat. Instead, she was arrested and charged with felony gun posession.

As you can imagine, the 9/11 Memorial has a strict policy and only first responders on designated days are allowed to walk around the memorial strapped.

One never knows what might happen when two seemingly delirious and rather similar-looking models are placed in a hotel room together, but I can assure you that skimming through the TV menu and room service binge fests aren’t on the agenda. Remember the girls fake-ripping their shirts open for Putin? Meet the Opposition Girls. Unlike the “chickenheads,” they’ve had enough of “oligarchs looting the country” and think that Putin “needs to… go… away.” Watch them sashay and shoot at presidential efigies.

Yes, those little wooden teddy bears are effigies of President Medvedev (“Bear-man”). Nice Matrix tint. Is this gun-wielding necessary? When you’ve got little Army of Putin teases in pink throwing parades and bouncing about — with no one to curb this ditzy patriotism but one little teenager “from Anonymous” (third clip, 1:00) — some people need a bigger shtick to get attention.

The clip was suggested to ANIMAL by the Ukrainian topless protest group FEMEN. They’ve been victims of terrible Photoshop fakery affiliating them with the Army of Putin. They don’t like Putin. They like these gals better.

At first, this chest of fancy Apocalypse “prepper” gear and a skeleton “burried” with Coca-cola, Jack Daniels, Marlboros, Adidas, a Leica, a Fender, a Rolex, a Colt 45 and the Bible seem… ostentatiously cynical about branding fetishism. Forty-seven people were shot citywide over the holiday weekend in a string of unrelated incidents, a few of them fatal. The violence stretched into the early hours of Monday morning, as gunmen refused to observe Labor Day. Shots later rang out near the West Indian Day Parade, further spiking the number of wounded. The 48 hours of bloodshed was so bad, it could only properly be put into context by way of a historical reference. “I can’t remember a couple of hours like these since the days of crack,” said a New York Post police source.
