Did someone just snatch your iPhone? There’s an app for that. Police are looking for a thief who stole a woman’s phone in Queens only to get his picture taken via iGotya. It’s an app that captures a photo of whoever’s trying to unsuccessfully unlock a phone and then emails it to the owner.

With crime rising steadily in the NYC transit system specifically because of iProducts, this could be the most effective way to curb that statistic. Too bad it only works on jailbroken phones. While it’s
not the most flattering photo, if I just realized some nerd caught me red0handed, I wouldn’t be smiling either.

I know they’re meant to be faux-widget funnies, but someone get me that Weaselface. “Adds snark and satire to any written text” and comes with a “Libel Check?” Just imagine the clever shit you could reading!

Found Footage of Allegedly Kidnapped Russian Model Has to be Fake

The YouTube user who uploaded this video and prefers to remain anonymous, says this shaky footage of a distressed Russian woman claiming she’s being held captive is from an iPhone they found at the Lucky Dog bar in Williamsburg last night.

It abruptly ends as someone comes in to subdue her. Although it’s most likely an art house clip, the person isn’t taking any chances and says the phone and its contents, have been turned over to the NYPD. Feel free to hits us with any additional info or your best theories.
