Recently, the TSA assured Apple devotees that their beloved iPads will not be subjected to additional security and now, they’d like the public to know their iTunes are safe too. Clarifying a recent Washington Times piece, the federal agency says they don’t snoop through traveler’s files or even turn on computers during an inspection. They did note, however, that Customs and Border Protection, another division within Homeland Security, does.
So, I’m guessing a collection of music industry people must have recently gathered for another one of their vaunted “How can we fuck ourselves in the ass really hard?” meetings, because their latest scheme to produce revenue is just off-the-charts insane.
