More Jacques Lusciousness Arriving Soon

It’s that quarterly time for more arty erotica from Jacques magazine. The “Red Light” issue will be out by Valentine’s, their “naughtiest issue ever!” If you’re into the spunky-lush smoking-fetishy Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!-alluding redhead type, double score for you. Still stomping over print-media corpses, the resilient rag will bring the usual never retouched film-photography spreads served with “edgy” literature of some sort, so get ready to intellectualize your tumescence (those are fancy words for classy soft-core, alright?). Check out a NSFW preview below. Read more »

See XXL’s ‘Freshman List’ for 2010 Now

Each year, hip hop magazine XXL releases their ‘Freshman Class’ issue, that features the top ten up and coming rappers on their cover. But no need to wait until 2010 to see who made the cut, thanks to an intrepid tipster who claims to have taken a spy shot of the roster. Although we can’t independently verify the authenticity of the list, it’s very likely that it’s legit, after all, this wouldn’t be the first time they got scooped on their own content.

UPDATE: XXL Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten says she appreciates the “enthusiasm,” but the list isn’t from the mag, it’s a fraud! Her statement below: Read more »

ANIMAL Vindicated By Giant’s Now Official Death

Way back in May we mentioned that Giant was folding and gave at least two possible reasons why. One: it sucked. Two: its newly hired editor-in-chief, Smokey Fontaine, has a terrible history of killing magazines with boring content. Well, we were right! The mag has been deaded and this time they’re not even gonna try and deny it. Read their Sixth Sense-like revelation below acknowledging the inevitable: Read more »

SMILFs Featured In iD Magazine

A trio of aging supermodels I’d like to…friend, stripped naked for iD magazine’s ‘Flesh and Blood’ issue. Shot by photographer Kayt Jones, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova and Helena Christensen appear mostly nude and still look good doing so, proving that a steady diet of blow and Rice Cakes isn’t so bad for the body after all. The black and white format probably didn’t hurt either. There’s more where those came from, NSFW even. |The Blemish|

Jacques Magazine Releases Artsy Autumn Porn

Last month’s legal threats didn’t stop Jacques magazine from putting out their “Autumn” issue. The third release of this artsy erotic rag sees some gun-toting, motorcycle-riding women posing for the camera. Along with their unedited photos shot by Stacey Mark and Jonathan Leder, the models describe how easy and enjoyable posing nude is, much like Emile Hirsch’s girlfriend, Brianna Domont, did before her bout of regret. See some shots below from the new issue, which is already out on store shelves. Read more »

XXL Still Not On the List

Still not content with getting scooped on a print feature that was obviously created with the intention of attracting pageviews, rap mag XXL thought it’d be wise to finally get around to releasing their 100 favorite Hip Hop websites piece online, but in parts, over the next few days. Smart, right? Or…you could just go see the full list ANIMAL already leaked now!

XXL Keeps It 100 With Favorite Hip Hop Blogs List

Why these hip hop magazines don’t post this shit themselves before sites like ANIMAL scoop them I’ll never know, but here’s XXL’s 100 favorite Hip Hop Blogs list from their soon to be released December/January issue. Read more »

Wheat Field, Nude Model Photographed for Vogue Nippon

How do you save the magazine industry? Well, you can’t, but publishing more photo shoots like the one Daria Werbowy did for Vogue Nippon certainly won’t hurt any. It could help the wheat industry though. We assembled some samples above, but see the rest of NSFW crop shots over at Mob. |MobLiving|

KAWS Illustrates ‘Graffi-Couture’ for Vogue France

kaws_vogue

Although he wasn’t allowed to scribble on the cover like he did for Jalousse, i-D, and Complex, French Vogue did ask KAWS to add his illustrative style to a few pages of a fashion editorial shot by house photographer Mario Sorrenti. The horribly named “Graffi-Couture” photo shoot features emaciated models standing in front of, well, graffiti, because that’s so in again. See the rest of the mostly unremarkable shoot here.
