Peter Fuss Commemorates the New Anti-Christ, Pigs With Guns

Barack Obama assassinating artist Peter Fuss continues to stir things up, this time depicting Pope Benedict XVI and a crossed out John Paul II in a new limited edition acrylic on canvas series. He’s also taken his street worthy war pig campaign and transformed them into paintings. Check out more of the Polish rabble-rouser’s drops for 2009.

Peter Fuss Declares ‘War’

When he’s not busy assassinating Barack Obama or making art made of money, Peter Fuss is doing what he likes best: vandalizing. The Polish artist has a new series of work aptly entitled “War Has Started,” that depicts pig faced soldiers in various modes of attack.

Obama-Killing Artist Creates Money Making Art

Peter Fuss, the Polish artist responsible for creating the oversized “Who Killed Barack Obama” billboard has a new body of work, aptly titled “Pictures for Poor and Rich” that is worth money, literally. Fuss incorporated actual greenbacks into the piece, which could be the only way to ensure a good investment in a tanking art market. In keeping with the traditions of the Treasury Department’s wastefulness and an inevitable inflation rate, the work is priced 10x the actual value of the bills. Check out the $1, $5, $10, and highly expensive $100 edition—that one sells for a cool $100,000.

Artist Explains Why He Killed Barack Obama

Earlier this week, we took a look at artist Peter Fuss’ “Who Killed Barack Obama” billboard, installed as part of a group art exhibit in Wroclaw, Poland. While some have dismissed the work as sensational shock art, the Polish creative offers his reasoning for creating it:

“This piece of art is about global thought of Obama’s unavoidable death. About the fact that so many people in the entire world share one opinion: Barack Obama is to follow the same story as Lincoln, Kenney, M.L.K., and Malcolm X previously did. And this is due to various reasons: cause he is young, black and ready for radical change.”

But he also notes that the piece is not just about Obama but his supporters too, who may ultimately find themselves facing a similar fate:

Who Killed Obama?

That’s the question Polish artist Peter Fuss poses in his latest work, an oversized, outdoor, public art installation: “Who Killed Barack Obama?” The piece is part of a Wroclaw, Poland, exhibition, “Out of Sth,” and Fuss is Poland’s answer to the Billboard Liberation Front: he “illegally puts up his works on billboards as a way to make a bitter comment on the reality surrounding him.” Whether or not Obama will be taken out by some right-wing nutcase if he becomes President, the assassination of the presidential wannabe has become something of an artistic meme. Designer Doron Braunshtein created a “Who Killed Obama” T-shirt, and a Hillary Clinton and Obama assassination-themed exhibit in New York was unceremoniously shut down by the Secret Service. Meanwhile, Fuss is selling limited-edition, signed screenprints of “Who Killed Barack Obama?” for 100 euro a pop. More angles of Obama getting JFKed after the jump.
