Chicago artist Ray Noland continues his Obama themed series of work. After successfully creating a slew of pieces, from posters of the President-elect on the street to prints of the First Woman, he created this “Obama Attack Dogs” piece that tears into senate seat selling Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. But now that he’s appointed Roland Burris, despite all the controversy and assurances by the Senate majority leader that this isn’t going to fly, maybe Noland should do a follow up with Harry Reid holding the canines.
Chicago based, Obama supporting graphic artist Ray Noland aka CRO, created a bit of a stir during the presidential campaign when his stencilized images of the Illinois senator started mysteriously popping up on the streets of the “Windy City.” After eventually coming forward and taking credit for the public enhancements and showcasing an entire body of work, the artist continues on his mission, now paying homage to the First Lady-elect with this slightly frightening depiction of Michelle Obama. The 3 color screen-print measures 18×24 inches and is offered as an edition of 100, get it HERE.
