Already locked up for passing $60,000 in bad checks, Hipster Grifter Kari Ferrell was hit with new charges in Utah yesterday. Not surprisingly, the new felonies include more bad checks as well as identity fraud for opening a cable TV account with an “ex-boyfriend’s name and Social Security number.” |Gawker|

Graffiti Victim Arrested For Kidnapping Children

While most people would just call the police or start scrubbing away their graffiti problem, a Salt Lake City man allegedly sought justice by kidnapping three boys he suspected were responsible. 21-year-old Juan Lopez and his 15-year-old cousin reportedly confronted the kids, aged 11 and 12, in a local park and “choked or dragged” them into the vandalized vehicle by their necks. After scoring a free ride back to Utah courtesy of the Salt Lake City Police Department, the “Hipster Grifter” Kari Ferrell was deemed “indigent” by a judge on Tuesday and given a free attorney too.
