A week ago today America’s media celebrated Sgt. Kimberly Munley as the hero of the Ft. Hood shooting. But now the media is hailing another cop, Sgt. Mark Todd, who initially deferred credit to Munley because he didn’t want the attention, as the true hero. Whatever, can’t we just celebrate both of them as heroic figures for risking their lives by walking into the line of fire to stop a deranged gunman’s homicidal rampage? |NY Daily News|
