The Impossible Project, known for their preservation efforts against the extinction of Polaroid film and saving the last existing Polaroid film factory, are ready to re-introduce the product to fellow analog film fetishists. The Impossible Project is not so hopeless after all. Focused on developing new instant films, the group’s efforts have inspired Polaroid to bring back some old cameras back from the dead, particularly the Polaroid One, and produce a new digital version by next summer. The Dutch instant film revival group will begin manufacturing its own film products early next year with black and white, color and Polaroid-branded version being released thereafter. |Telegraph|
