Angel Rotger must have really pissed off his co-workers at 340 East 74th street when he started hooking up with foot model Christina Ambers, one of the building’s residents, because they all turned against the porter and the object of his affection, probably out of seething jealously that they weren’t getting to bone fancy foot models, after the relationship commenced, eventually leading to marriage.

This whole thing sounds like a Jennifer Lopez movie waiting to happen. Ambers is now suing the building for $10 million dollars because the staff refused to open the door for her and carry her packages or something after she became involved with Rotger. To make matters worse, the building super’s wife nailed Rotger in the nutsack with a package.

The $10 million suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, accuses the super’s wife – identified by building residents as Kristin Purcell – of boozily slugging Rotger in the groin.

“He made his way to the hospital and was diagnosed with a contusion,” Ambers said. “Can you imagine how hard she must have hit him to have caused a contusion?”

Ambers, who bought her 700-square-foot apartment in 2003, previously tangled with building management over problems with her floor that she said were caused by a leak. The feud grew even uglier once she paired off with Rotger.

“It seems that Christina has breached some type of social order that existed in that building,” said Joshua Price, a lawyer for the newlyweds. “There’s no question that they’ve been made to feel like outcasts.”

Inspired by the movie “Fight Club,” a teen arrested for the bombing of an Upper East Side Starbucks forgot the first rule: “You don’t talk about fight club.” Police arrested the teenager, Kyle Shaw, outside his home in Chelsea, charging him with arson, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief for the May 25th blast that damaged a bench and shattered windows outside the coffee shop. With little evidence and few leads to go on, the police investigation was aided by the 17-year-old’s inability to stop talking.

Shaw bragged to friends about beginning “his own Project Mayhem” with the Starbucks attack, telling one to “watch the news on Memorial Day,” and another how he rigged the crude explosive from sparklers and fireworks. When police picked Shaw up, he was toting around a “Fight Club” DVD, newspaper clippings on his explosive endeavor, as well as a box of sparklers.

More than two days after the predawn bombing of an Upper East Side Starbucks, investigators are no closer to figuring out who was responsible for the homemade explosive that damaged a wooden bench, shattered windows but fortunately did not injure anyone. Multiple witnesses claim they saw “two white youngsters, about 14 and 16 years old, running away from the scene,” which is the the best lead police have for now.

There are no suspicious figures captured on surveillance cameras, no claims of responsibility, and just the curious letters ‘VET’ on a plastic fragment.

It’s not even clear that Starbucks was anything more than a random target. Though the investigation is not over yet, this most recent blast looks like it will bear strong similarities to the unresolved bombings at the British Consulate in 2005, the Mexican Consulate in 2007, and the Times Square military recruiting station in 2008.
