Photography Rights Cloth Helps Keep the Law Clear

lens_rightsAs part of Britain’s nationwide campaign against police harassment of photogs, Amateur Photographer mag will include a free lens cloth with its July 10th issue, expressively outlining photographers’ rights for cop bullies. This includes the legal right to photograph officers in uniform. Here’s a similar run-down of the U.S. laws. Special note of interest: photography on private property can be illegal, not photography of private property (like the BP offices.)
