While the Times flaunts its condescending ‘you can’t be great overnight’ ads against the Wall Street Journal’s new New York section, they’re responding with some metro-marketing of their own. Last weekend, they projected bland screenshots of their NYC section onto a massive wall on Houston Street, right off Broadway. But that’s not the only place Rupert Murdoch vandalized with light.
They also took advantage of Shepard Fairey’s illegally built Deitch Wall. How will the New York Times respond? Hopefully with a mixtape!
