Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?
Gnarls Barkley has a new video, "Who Will Save Your Soul?", and it is awesome. These days, most videos are shit. Take, for example, Rihanna's lame-ass Nine Inch Nails rip-off: "Disturbia." Or pretty much anything that appears on VH1. But the latest from Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo, directed by Chris Milk, is a masterpiece. In it, a girl dumps a boy who tears out his heart for her. After that, the heart wanders drunkenly about, spattering blood, and waving a piece of broccoli. Maybe there's hope for music videos yet.
