Watch a Children’s Choir Cover Crystal Castles

July 30, 2013 | Julia Dawidowicz

The Capital Children’s Choir of London has just released a video of their a cappella rendition of Crystal Castles’ “Untrust Us,” and wow. Replacing the synths, percussion and other mysterious sound effects of the original with nothing but chest taps and baby cherub voices, the kiddie choir’s cover (above) is spine-tinglingly complex and utterly breathtaking. Also, just a bit creepy.

To make things significantly weirder, bear in mind the song’s (supposed) lyrics:

“La cocaína no es buena para su salud.” That’s spanish for “the cocaine is not good for your health.”

Hey, drill it into ’em young, I guess? Nice work, children.
