Watch Two Cartoon Horses Contemplate Existence, Commit Murder

11.20.12 Andy Cush

In the latest installment of Phil Matarese’s “Animals” (hey, cool name!) series of animated shorts, two New York City equines–one drawing a carriage, the other a police horse–charmingly discuss life in the city, their respective day jobs, and how to squeeze meaning out of life in a universe that brutally repeatedly denies your humanity and free will. Heavy stuff! Hilarious, also.

And then, as is par for the course for this series, shit goes off the rails and somebody dies. But that’s when the fun really starts.
