When the Unions Come Marching In

Undoubtedly emboldened by the Occupy Wall Street movement, thousands of union members marched through Manhattan for economic equality on Thursday and it couldn’t have come at a better time for America’s industrious class.

For the first few months of 2011, there was a lot of union bashing going on, to the point where even teachers were branded as fat cats by the right.

Sadly, for Republicans, it looks like that dialogue is starting to change, quickly, and the shrinking middle class is once again becoming a major national issue. Despite all the criticism about their lack of focus and goals, OWS certainly appears to be fomenting a major shift after all and can even be credited with making “Governor One Percent” back peddle a little in regards to his staunch position on the Millionaire’s Tax.
