Dark Knight Hype

Today, the kids at Cinematical point to this bad ass new "Dark Knight" poster that's part bathroom wall scrawl, part Joker gone wild, part Batman blood bukkaked. Sure, the poster may be cool, but is the movie going to suck or rock? Rolling Stone says it's an "absolute stunner" and Heath Ledger's Joker is so "mad-crazy-blazing brilliant" he'd "shame the Marquis de Sade"--although the critic, Peter Travers, is a known "quote whore"--and another reviewer concurs: "The Dark Knight is a masterpiece." The rest of us will have to wait in the dark until the 18th to find out if the film lives up to the hyperbole.
