Montauk Monster Is Still A Mystery
Ever since Gawker published an image of what appeared to be a wingless Griffen-like creature, the interweb has been rife with theories of what the washed up beast found on a Montauk beach is. Some claimed it was a dog, while others are maintaining that it could be a sea turtle without its shell, a raccoon, an alien, a water rat or even a Plum Island experiment gone back—although the notorious animal lab claims it's not one of theirs. So what the hell is it? Despite the media onslaught and speculation no on knows. The mystery continues, until the weekend at least.
