Strangely, Two NYPD Officers Indicted For Doing Something Wrong

November 4, 2014 | Bucky Turco

Two Brooklyn cops who hit an unarmed teenager in August have been indicted and will be arranged on Wednesday, reports the New York Post. Surveillance camera footage captured the incident and shows Kareem Tribble surrendering to Officers David Afanador and Tyrane Isaac after initially running away from them. As he goes to raise his hands, the cops start punching and pistol whipping the 16-year-old in the face, damaging his teeth. According to DNAinfo, the police say they started chasing the teen because he was seen “peering into the window of parked mini-van” in Bed Stuy. Tribble was busted “for possessing 17 small bags of marijuana and disorderly conduct,” two charges the NYPD could have easily gotten a conviction for, had they not broken even more severe laws themselves.
