Having graffiti writers draw on NYC subway maps isn’t all that original and has been done countless times, all of which we’ve dutifully covered, but there’s still something appealing about them. So, here’s some of the latest additions by storied bombers to Dirty Pilot’s ‘Map Quest’ exhibit. They’re almost guaranteed to turn a profit.
Graffiti Artist Trades Paint for Paper

Graffiti artist EZO has been pasting up some new works on the streets. The series of poster illustrations features a Grinch-like Mayor Bloomberg, appropriately timed for the holiday season. Similarly, the New York-based artist takes on Chase Bank, FOX, scantily-clad gunslingers as well as any detractors, proclaiming himself a “sellout” and “gallery outlaw” lest they say it first. Usually it’s Tats Cru that gets assignments likes this, but instead, graffiti legends CES, EZO, and DR.REVOLT were recruited to create some “edgy” ads for Max Payne, a new video game inspired movie starring Mark Wahlberg—who looks awfully strange in aerosol form. The billboards—a far cry from the insane talent these guys usually display—were painted in the LES, East Harlem, and the East Village. Nothing delights us more then recieving brand spanking new flicks of freight trains painted by the likes of EZO, NAVY, and ZEPHYR. Ever since the subways were buffed and taken out of service the minute aerosol hit their surfaces, allot of ‘writers’ took to the freight trains to satisfy their itch. Since we don’t want to blow up spots, let’s just say these were done in the local tri-state area. Its always been said that actions (and photos) speak louder then words so we present some of the trio’s most recent destruction after the jump.
