After a stellar showing of Yeezy rant technology on Friday, Kanye Webst Week wrapped up with a strong finish this weekend. Free Art & Technology showed us to a new online tool for putting “Where Are You Yeezy?” speech bubbles not just on attractive ladies as Kanye does, but any photo, even terrorists. After that, we heard Minimal Bling, a wholly unlistenable album of Kanye tracks attacked by iRedux, “an automated system that, by destroying your audio files, creates original ambient music.” Finally, the week of Kanye 2.0 closed with the ultra slow and depressing E-Kan-Omic Crisis.
Kanye Webst Week continues, hitting new heights on day five. Free Art & Technology debuts the Caps LEDs Rants – Twitter Badge, a stylish pin automatically updated with the latest Yeezy rant for you to “wear and show off … in public.” And continuing their endeavors in the offline world, F.A.T. educates the public about scamming free rides on London transit, just like Kanye probably would if he ever rode a bus again. Finally back on the computer comes Lowercase Kanye, a cure for everyone sick of reading Kanye’s all-caps rants, as well as a middle-schooler’s explanation of Yeezy’s autotune secrets.

It’s “Kanye Webst Week” over at F.A.T., where they’re “posting Kanye-West-Web-2.0 related original content on the daily…AND TYPING EXCLUSIVELY IN CAPS.” Already they’ve debuted Kanye Vision, a bookmarklet to simulate browsing the internet in Ye’s signature shutter shades and a gold lamé face mask to ward of swine flu. However, the best release so far is Quotable Kanye, a website with a simple premise: “random Yeezy wisdom on every page load!!” With “additional Kanye rant technology” promised, this could prove to be a truly great week for the internet.
Fat Tag, an iPhone app just released by Free Art and Technology, isn’t about making colorful graffiti. It’s about making tags, very drippy tags. The “simple graffiti tagging app” is free and now available to iPhone users, though the source code is open for adapting to other platforms.
