Researchers presented a report on medical weed to the California State legislature on Wednesday and guess what? That’s right, once again, science is proving that cannabis does have medicinal benefits for patients and can help treat a range of ailments. The findings were part of an $8.7 million study that is consistent with past research and Peter Tosh’s lyrics from 1979.

It found that a startling 81% of Americans are now in favor of legalizing cannabis for medicinal purposes.
