As America’s media whoring, newspaper-hating sheriff, Joe ‘Asshole’ Arpaio, continues his hotheaded brand of law enforcement, the creative community in Arizona is increasingly fighting back. After targeting ‘Nazi Joe’ with stencils a few months back, someone is installing life-size cutouts of the controversial cop around Tucson. The street art style of activism depicts Sheriff Joe holding the a woman and child at gun point. They were placed at major intersections as part of campaign to highlight the systemic racism practiced by until the police removed them citing “public safety” and “right of way concerns.” More photos of the stiff sheriff and an immigrant killing border patrol agent below.
In case you were still wondering what Sarah ‘Secessionist’ Palin’s typical “Joe Six-Packs” look like—besides that arctic crackpot that founded the Alaskan Independence Party—here’s another perfect example: Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The graffiti targeted lawman has a lot in common with Governor Palin, he also detests knowledge and has utter contempt for the so called liberal media elites. Watch in wonderment as the civil rights abusing lawman actually encourages the citizenry to not read newspapers in this new political ad aimed squarely at Phoenix newspaper, The Arizona Republic.
Oppressive Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, notorious for his inhumane and torturous law enforcement tactics, got a little taste of street justice in Mesa, Arizona. A vandal by the name of VooDoo made a stencil of the xenophobic cop and painted it around town with the word “Nazi Joe” above the head—not “Neo Nazi” as reported by two newscasters, back to back, in this CBS affiliate’s report and by these guys. The local media is all over this story, describing the graffiti as “racist” and Mesa cops are considering whether the creative public expression is a hate crime—even though it’s clearly just a barb at the cruel sheriff.
