Pandacam Is Down, So Watch This Panda Blog

October 7, 2013 | Marina Galperina

It’s the end of the federal government as we know it, for now… So if you’re concerned about the Meals on Wheels services for veterans, the National Weather Service or national parks, we can’t help you. The government is closed. But if you miss the National Zoo’s Pandacam, you can watch Art F City’s resident Panda Blogger on this stream!

Unlike Time’s “Panda” stream which features a stuffed panda not doing anything, during regular their regular blogging hours, Art F City’s panda blogger will blog, eat bamboo, lay down and do other cute panda stuff LIVE from 319 Scholes gallery/hacking space.

“Right now, we’re doing most of the dressing up ourselves, but we’re inviting anyone who wants to come in and dress like a panda to do so,” Paddy Johnson tells ANIMAL. “Lainya Magana of AOPublic has said she’ll come in today between 3:30 and 4:00pm. Carla Gannis is in at 5:30pm. John Powers and Francis Bacon are coming in tomorrow at 8:00am.

Artists are welcome! Jennifer Catron and Paul Outlaw — WOOO! — are slated to come in later this week.

I asked the panda to wave and it waved. Awesome. Watch, follow and contact Paddy Johnson at Paddy@artfcity.com if want to dress like a panda and do panda stuff (or art) on the Art F City Pandacam.
