TMZ (Who else?!) has obtained the medical examiner’s report on Adam Goldstein, popularly known as DJ AM. The cause of death: accidental overdose. In his system at the time of his death: “cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole (a drug used to cut cocaine with).” |TMZ|

DJ AM Was Spinning Out of Control

DJ AM reportedly told friends he had relapsed and when confronted by his sponsor, promised to check back into rehab the next day, of course he did so while smoking crack and popping pills. And he had plenty. When cops arrived Friday they discovered “small plastic bags filled with painkillers Vicodin and oxycodone and anti-anxiety medications Xanax and lorazepam,” reports the Post. |NYP|

Celebrity DJ and apparent crackhead, Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM, was found dead in his luxury Soho apartment on Friday night. Police discovered the 36-year-old partymaker along with a glass pipe, a half empty bag of crack, and a whole bunch of prescription pill bottles reports the Daily News. His last communique via Twitter was on August 25th, quoting Hip Hop legend Grandmaster Flash, “New york, new york.
