Michael Jackson’s Death: Live At the Apollo

Today, the legendary Apollo theater is holding a memorial for Michael Jackson from 2-8PM with a moment of silence planned for 5:26PM when he was officially pronounced dead—TMZ posted their death notice at 5:20PM (2:20PM PCT). The Apollo Reimagines Michael Jackson’s Age

Earlier today, upon hearing the news of his death, the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem posted a tribute to Michael Jackson on their iconic marquee. Unfortunately, they got his birth year wrong by 15 years. He was born in 1958 and by ’79 had already put out one of his best selling albums: “Off the Wall.”
