Gorgeously Hellish Shots of a Volcano Lightning Storm

These infernal photos of a volcanic lightning storm were captured by photographer Marin Rietze whilevisiting the Sakurajima Volcano in Japan. The Sodom ‘n’ Gomorrah Light Show only lasted about twenty seconds, but that was more than enough time for Rietze to score some incredible shots. This is a prime example of a photographer being at the right place, at the right time… a really dangerous and terrifying place and time.
