Look at These Neon Waterfalls

Woah. This is an ongoing photo series “Neon Luminance” by Sean Lenz and Kristoffer Abildgaard of San Francisco’s From the Lenz. The pair strategically dropped Cyalume glow sticks in several moon-lit waterfalls throughout Northern California and captured the mesmerizing light trails using long exposure. The result: glorious fairy-rave fantasy dreamscapes. At times, the duo tied multiple glow sticks together to create more complex patterns, but all in all the concept is brilliantly simple.

Calm down, you goddamn Nor-Cal hippies! Lenz and Abildgaard were sure to collect all the (unopened) glow sticks at the end of each shoot, so all the little fishies went unharmed.
