Have you ever wished you could see the world through the bleary eyes of “The Dude?”
The awesome actor/producer/humanitarian/stoner ICON Jeff-of-all-trades-Bridges is apparently a pretty decent photographer. So decent, in fact, that his work from behind the lens will be awarded a “special recognition” at the International Center of Photography’s Infinity Awards in NYC tonight.
Primarily using his Widelux camera, which he has called “a fickle mistress” with “a lack of preciousness that makes things more human and honest,” Bridges has been documenting nearly all the film sets he has worked on since 1984.
“I think I have a perspective that not many people have,” he told the New York Times. “And I get to take advantage of all of the strange sources of light on a set.”
Strange is good.
