Kaleidoscopic Time-Lapse of Cities Around the World

July 24, 2013 | Kyle Chayka

Filmmaker Michael Shainblum’s new film takes an abstract approach to time-lapse photography and mirrors clips of city life, making them fold into and onto themselves. The mass of visual stimulation is an eclectic mix of man-made structures and millions of Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas and Los Angeles inhabitants.

The epic video has taken over five years for the filmmaker to complete. The soundtrack is not good.
