“I used to cop in Harlem, all of my Dominicanos/Right there up on Broadway, pull me back to that McDonald’s/Took it to my stash spot, 560 State Street/Catch me in the kitchen like a Simmons with them pastries”
The “stash spot” Jay Z immortalized in his still-inescapable 2009 hit “Empire State of Mind” is now available for purchase. If you’ve got $870,000 to spare, 560 State Street’s apartment 10C is all yours (the precise unit where he lived is apparently up for dispute, but one resident of the building claims Jigga told him it was this one). For that money, you get a two-bedroom duplex with some very shiny hardwood floors. Plus, it’s spitting distance from the Barclays Center, the house that Jay Z “built.” See some photos of the interior from Curbed.
