Artist Michael DeNicola aka Ink Lungs recently painted a construction trailer in the East Village to honor Philip Seymour Hoffman who died of an apparent drug overdose nearly two weeks ago. First reported by Bowery Boogie, the mural was picked up by several websites, all of whom failed to mention one glaring observation — it doesn’t resemble the actor. For a tribute, it’s a very, very, very loose interpretation of his likeness.
