Recently, the jokey stenciler known as Hanksy organized a secret, one-night-only art exhibition inside an abandoned East Village tenement, scheduled for demolition. Over the course of several nights before the invite-only opening, dozens of artists snuck inside to destroy and cover the building’s innards in art. ANIMAL got some photos of a sneak preview the day of the opening, but this video by Nicolas Heller shows just how much fun they were having.
