In September of last year, three men BASE jumped off of 1 World Trade Center, and yesterday, they published GoPro footage of their exploits on YouTube. The stunt looks as insane as it sounds, and seeing the streets of the Financial District rushing towards the camera before the parachuter pulls his chord is exhilarating. All three jumpers — James Brady, Andrew Rossig, and Marco Markovich — were arrested, along with their lookout, Kyle Hartwell. They’ll face charges for burglary, reckless endangerment and jumping from a structure.
According to the Daily News, any money the men earn from pre-roll on their video will be donated to a charity for 9/11 victims’ families.
