Have pity on Rick Voight, a 41-year-old man who was recently driving along Interstate 90 in Montana. Just as he reached mile marker 420 — perhaps chuckling quietly to himself for a moment at the coincidence — the Montana Highway Patrol pulled him over. When they searched his car, they found 115 pounds of weed.
The Billings Gazette explains:
The incident occurred at mile marker 420 of Interstate 90, Undersheriff Chip Kem said in a press release.
According to Kem, the trooper “developed suspicions that the vehicle contained illegal drugs” during the stop and called the Stillwater County Sheriff’s Department K-9 deputy.
The dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs, the car was impounded and a search warrant was obtained.
Rick and Dawn Voight, his passenger, were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute, and are being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility on $75,000 bond each.
Jordy, the dog who sniffed out the weed, looks very proud of himself.
