At Silent Barn: Art + Science talk with Angelina Dreem, who will encode images sourced from A Mesoscale Connectome of the Mouse Brain into her visual cortex, generating an overrepresentation of these images in her brain that may influence the art created for this installation. (6pm, Free, Brooklyn)

Ann Hirsch, “Muffy” at American Medium. For her debut solo exhibition, Ann Hirsch explores the inchoate state of early adolescent sexuality, in which one intuits the sexual nature of their bodies, but doesn’t yet know what sex is. (6pm, Free, Brooklyn)

Screaming Females and Bleeding Rainbow play Brooklyn Night Bazaar. (8pm, Brooklyn, free)

RBMA’s “Hardcore Activity in Progress” event boasts a great, ridiculously diverse lineup: Napalm Death, Tim Hecker, Gunplay, Wolf Eyes, more. (8pm, $10, Queens)
