It was announced this morning via a YouTube clip (above) and a Variety article that Twin Peaks will be coming back in 2016. On Friday of last week, the inter-webs were sent into speculation that there would be a continuation of the series when David Lynch and Mark Frost simultaneously tweeted, “Dear Twitter Friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style! #damngoodcoffee.” The tweets were references to dialogue from the series and they both came at 11:30 am, the exact time that Agent Dale Cooper first rolled into Twin Peaks.
