Sex workers and lovers of fun are combining forces to protest the UK’s egregious new pornography laws. Calling the planned demonstration #PornProtest, organizers say the event will climax with a mass face-sit-in where:
demonstrators will simulate sex acts with each other and sing along to Monty Python’s ‘Sit On My Face.’
The new laws ban strangulation, whipping and face-sitting in porn because those practices are “potentially life-threatening.” Some critics believe the laws are sexist because pornographers are still free to show a woman choking on a dick, but the face-sitting part essentially outlaws cunnilingus. Water sports and spanking have also been banned because for the Brits it’s just cold-baby-making-missionary or GTFO.
The protest will also include guest speakers who will actually be talking about the very serious issues of sexual freedom and freedom of speech that the law violates. But lets face it, we all just want to see how that mass face-sitting goes down. Organizers will gather in front of parliament on Friday and if you can’t make it to London just follow #PornProtest on Twitter.
