NIMBY Alarmism Forces SantaCon To Retain Famed Civil Rights Lawyer

SantaCon, an annual debaucherous event that’s no worse than St. Patrick’s Day or New Year’s Eve, has received an unprecedented amount of manufactured outrage this year from the media, bar owners, block associations, the MTA, and the city itself. Amidst this backlash, the organization has retained the services of famed civil right lawyer and former director of the New York Civil Liberties Union Norman Siegel, reports the Associated Press.

“I look forward to working with participants in SantaCon to guarantee that their activities are respected and in accordance with the principles and values provided for in the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution,” said Siegel to ANIMAL.

According to EV Grieve, the event will kick things off on Saturday in Hell’s Kitchen. Soon after the pre-party, hopefully they’ll then fan out to all the neighborhoods that didn’t want them in the first place.
