UPDATE: Two police officers were shot and killed in Bed Stuy and then the gunman killed himself.

There was lots of yelling during Friday’s dueling protests at City Hall. On the pro-police side, some demonstrations donned tees that read “I can breathe… because of the NYPD.”

Protesters blocked the Manhattan Bridge for like the 37th time last night.

A fourth person — female suspect #1 — was arrested for the alleged assault of two police officers on the Brooklyn Bridge. Related: Usually when a video emerges of the NYPD in action it’s not a good look, but in this case, it’s working out.

The plainclothes cop who punched a teenage suspect during an arrest that was captured on video has been suspended.

Meanwhile, NYC’s police unions are not only like a concentrated version of the Republican base, but also big cry babies.

Someone wrote “NYPD Kills” on the Manhattan Bridge, I wonder who it was.
