Police are attempting to track down seven people in connection with a brutal assault at a Unionport deli in the early hours of Sunday morning, the New York Daily News reports.
Around 4:25 AM on Sunday, a verbal dispute turned into a one-sided attack at 1253 Deli on Castle Hill Avenue. Two women and five men assaulted three people, all in their twenties. Two of the victims suffered stab wounds, and another “sustained multiple facial fractures.” The three victims were sent to the hospital. As of Monday morning, one of the victims has been released, while two remain in stable condition.
The suspects fled with $56 in cash and two of the victims’ cellphones. The women are described as Hispanic, and the men were black and hispanic.
