I’m not going to sit here and make jokes about “stoners rejoice, Taco Bell may start delivering soon,” because that would be hacky. But it’s true: if Taco Bell were to start doing home delivery, it would be the best thing to happen to marijuana enthusiasts since vapes.
In a riveting interview with Nation’s Restaurant News, Taco Bell CEO Brian Niccol said that among other things to make the #brand more relevant with #millenials, delivery is in the works. Niccol is working hard to Taco Bell an “on-demand brand,” a combination of words that makes me sad.
“Even though it’s the No. 1 request from consumers, we have to make sure we can give them an experience that’s consistent with Taco Bell, and that’s what we’re working through,” he said. “We have to figure it out, and I can tell you right now we don’t have it figured out.”
The best thing about Taco Bell delivery would be that customers would no longer have to rush home to have diarrhea (okay, that’s a hacky joke. So what). Also, delivery drivers will accept tips of bong hits in lieu of cash (not true, but it should be).
