For the past two years I have been rotating between Brooklyn, Berlin and Connecticut.

Drugs or natural highs?
Whatever natural high sobriety provides.

How did you get your name?
Cake is a term of endearment I made up when I was 18 years old and I used it on an ex-boyfriend and a dog so then at age 27 I reclaimed it. VICTORY IS MINE.

Why do what you do?
Because I’m supposed to be doing this.

How does your mother feel about your art?
She feels about it the way she feels about me.

Are you making a living off your art? How’s that working out so far?
Yes, it has begun. Soon I will have a Corvette.

Fuck the art world or embrace the art world?
I often embrace while I’m fucking.

Do you bring your smart phone into the bathroom with you? Why?
No, because besides the usual use of the bathroom, I also pray in there, and I can’t have the distraction.
