Ahmed Mohammed, the vendor hawking hot dogs and pretzels for up to $30 at a street corner adjacent to the 9/11 Memorial, has been ticketed. DNAinfo reports that he was slapped with three fines for failing to post prices. The amount of the fines has not been reported.
NBC blew up Mohammed’s spot when the news outlet reported that he was allegedly shortchanging customers and inflating prices at his food cart. He first came to the attention of Downtown Alliance when multiple fights broke out at the cart, presumably between him and angry customers.
