There’s a spectre hanging over hallucinogens, the spectre of 25I-NBOMe. It’s a substituted phenethylamine hallucinogenic and entactogenic stimulant. Chemically, it’s the N-benzyl derivative of the hallucinogen 2C-I. The addition of the 2-methyoxybenzyl made it an exceptionally potent 5-HT(2A) receptor agonist.
