April 18, 2014 | Andy Cush

Downtown Brooklyn became the latest NYC neighborhood to get free public Wi-Fi this week, launching wireless internet service in the areas surrounding Fulton Mall. The $150,000 project, financed by the city’s Economic Development Corporation, brings Wi-Fi to the region bounded by Tillary Street, Cadman Plaza West, Schermerhorn Street, and Flatbush Avenue.

Borough President Eric Adams, in accordance with tradition, celebrated with a group selfie.
