Keith Bardwell, the good ole boy Louisiana Justice of the Peace who recently became famous for refusing to grant a marriage license to an interracial couple out of “concern for the children,” has resigned after being pushed hard to do so by many, including Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Senator Mary Landrieu. Louisiana’s other senator, whore-mongering, diaper-fetishist family values conservative David Vitter, remained silent on the matter throughout, too cowardly to make any sort of statement he was.
