DMX can’t catch a break. The rapper who recently asked “What the fuck is a Barack” was caught speeding in Scottsdale, Arizona. But he wasn’t pulled over by a cop, instead getting snagged by a traffic camera and later arrested. He was charged with: criminal speeding, public endangerment, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license when his bright yellow ’66 Chevy with the a big ol’ DMX sticker plastered on the windshield was captured by strategically placed cameras along the freeway. |NYDN|
Poor DMX. His music predominantly sucks, he’s stuck in Arizona, makes gospel now, and he has no idea who the hell Barack Obama is. In this interview with XXL magazine, the rapper admits to not following the election—which is semi-understandable—but he should at least know about the black guy in the running:
DMX: What the fuck is a Barack?! Barack Obama. Where he from, Africa?
XXL: Yeah, his dad is from Kenya.
