Judge Forced to Instruct NYPD on the Law

A panhandler who posts up on Fifth Avenue isn’t likely to get arrested by police officers from the Midtown North Precinct anytime soon now that she got what amounts to a permission slip from a judge. After numerous arrests for “disorderly conduct,” Sojourner Hardeman sued the city for violating her 4th and 14th amendment rights. America’s Courts Doling Out All Sorts of Awesome ‘Justice’

Did you see the Frontline special on the multiple ways banks fleece their customers last night? Did it not make you want to just pull all your money from the banks and keep it under the mattress or something? I did! Well, a small measure of revenge has been laid down by a New York judge who basically gave a Long Island couple a free house after they were dicked over by a bank.
